The last Full Moon of 2023: Cold Moon
This is the last Full Moon of this year, captured today around Moon set (December 26th at 6:44 am) in Antalya, Turkey.
It’s the first full Moon I capture outside the USA.
The sky had this orangish blue color because of the astronomical twilight; It is when geometric center of the Sun is between 18° and 12° below the horizon.
The star to the upper right side of the Moon is Capella.
Why Cold Moon? Because it’s December which coincides with the peak winter weather in the northern hemisphere.
