NGC 4565 (also known as the Needle Galaxy or Caldwell 38) is an edge-on spiral galaxy about 30 to 50 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.
I used my 11" telescope to capture 3 hours of separate 5 minute exposures then I used an astronomy software to process it and obtain this result.
Image time/date: March 20th, 2023. Time: 11:30 PM. Location: Glen Allen, Virginia. Bortle 7 sky.
Full resolution is 30 megapixels. The download includes a signed and a non signed version of the image. It is optimized for best quality printing whether for posters or metal printing up to 30x40 inches.
