Pillars of Creation (June 14th 2023)

Pillars of Creation is a structure of interstellar dust located in the heart of the Eagle Nebula (M16). I captured this wonder from my 11" telescope in my backyard, the color is not altered artificially, I used a dual bandpass light pollution reduction imaging filter on a colored CMOS camera. The total integration time is 3 hours. This has been one of my favorite nebula captures so far. 

The image is also available for purchase as a digital download. Full resolution is 24 megapixels. The download includes a signed and a non signed version of the image. It is optimized for best quality printing whether for posters or metal printing up to 24x36 inches.
