Eye of the Wolf - 2024

Please read: The image is composited of two images taken on different dates: the Moon disc was taken tonight, I waited a while until the clouds gave a small window to snap a single image of the tonight’s Moon. The background was taken in September 28th 2023, on the harvest Moon. I kept this background because it gave me a vibe of a wolf looking through the cloudy frame. I kept this background to use for tonight’s photo edit.
The background was taken in Glen Allen, VA. The Moon disc was taken in Nashville, TN.

Why the Wolf Moon?
The naming came after the hungry wolves that howled outside villages around this time of the year. Alternative names of this moon are: Cold Moon, Frost Exploding Moon, and Hard Moon.
